Well, since my old thread got buried alive and I can't really find it, I'll just make a new one. This one also doubles as my animation GIF postings, because I rather just keep it all in one thread instead of balancing two different threads. Because I will possibly at some parts post NSFW such as artistic nudity, putting this under M to be on the safe side.
Been reading recently Kimon Nicolaides "The Natural Way To Draw". It finally opened my eyes to gesture drawing and I found one that clicks with me.

I've spent 10 minutes alone doing some figure drawing practice from line-of-action, and I think I'm more confident than I ever have. I'm aiming to get the gesture down within 1-2 minutes and don't overthink it, because then you lead to unconfident lines and stiffness in general trying so hard to be safe about it.
Here's a few for example:

Was it anatomically accurate? Nope, and that's not the point of gesture. I find these to be fluid and full of energy. Absolutely I could have (as proko put it) exaggerated the movements more, pushed it better, but this will improve over time.
