man, I am trying to do something for my friends and family that's supposed to be about Ghosts having jobs and political

correctness, and mother fucking shit I CANNOT MAKE THIS INTERESTING! so I figure that I should use my favourite

tropes, for example: one of the things I try to make this more self indulgent is DRUNKEN ROBOT DRAGONS!

so there's at least that.

yeah, it's for very young kids- but with humour like Animaniacs.it's meant for young people like how...well, I kind of

want it to be popular with teens and college kids.

and adults.

the story focuses on... a grandmother named Otis who dies and goes to the spirit world and has to become a

jack-of -all trades.

that's all I'll say for now, but personally?

what are your favourite tropes?

mine are:

  • Giant Robots (even tho I haven't really seen much Robomech anime)
  • Labs and science
  • Autism DON'T LOOK AT ME, DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAAAAAAAAAAAT
  • Buff nerds
  • bullies getting their comeuppance (or something like that)
  • cool costumes and stuff like uniforms and trench coats and such
  • Red heads (eh)
  • fighting big-name corporations (big favourite of mine)
  • sci fi
  • Aliens
  • surreal humour.

what are your favourite things to put in your work?

let me know!

good luck!

you're gonna fucking need it!

Definitely Surreal humor, needless violence, explosions, random deaths, got into rotoscoping a bit. But yeah, that's the basic stuff.

Like Jack Horner in Puss in Boots, you think he's gonna have a sad backstory when in actuality he's just extremely privileged. Or in Knives Out when the story leads up to a twist for the main lady being the killer just for it to turn it on its head for another character to be the real killer through tricking her
