Tragic situation for Skibidi Toilet

Yes, I'm serious.

Because, ever since Invisible Narratives (founded by Adam Goodman and Michael Bay) have gotten the rights to DaFuqBoom's infamous webseries, after he had signed them off in order to avoid certain strikes on YouTube (but I don't know which ones) they began doing shady crap towards the series and its creator, according to Eliteblueguy.

Stuff like sending him threats about his payment, tightening his upload schedule, making a strict NDA contract and worst of all, they're likely responsible for the takedown of Skibidi Toilet assets on Garry's Mod.

There were also leaked Discord messages, where Boom had expressed his frustration with the production company, even admitted that he's close to being broke and the quote below this paragraph is what he had allegedly said in December of last year.

Very disgusting and horrible people entered my life and I can't do anything with it.

Then in February of this year, he was asked if he was doing okay, he replied:

Nothing is ok. I'm just this close to crash out.

After the post on Twitter blew up, KreekCraft (Roblox YouTuber and ST fan) called for Skibidi Toilet to be saved and it musn't die like this.

P.S. I apologise if some sentences are worded poorly or you feel like it wasn't necessary for the Animation forum, because I've discovered this drama, thanks to ChadCat and I needed to spread the word to you guys.

Also, I've found out through DuckDuckGo's chatbot that Invisible Narratives have planned an IPO, which is gonna make things slightly worse for Skibidi Toilet and its community. :/

Saw a few toys in a Walmart which ask questions but shows the marketing. I have no idea how official it is since very little knowledge of the lore and knock off due happen. Wait, isn't the head part of Half-Life franchise?

That's one of the problems with ST, because merchants have commercialised a webseries based off of a copyrighted IP from Valve Corporation.

But, there's always a workaround to it.

Skibidi toilet is a forced meme so nonthing about this should be surprising or shocking.

Yeah just because you don't get it doesn't mean it's forced. You're trying to tell me he made that one video with the intention of "yeah, this is going to be a multimillion franchise. I can milk this." Really? I'll bet against you.

Its not that I don't "get it"

What you don't understand is that at this point its pretty much everywhere now to the point where it's being marketed, products of it exist, and its brought up out of context multiple times.

This happens with most memes by the time they've outlived their welcome.

It really is a forced meme at this point. So don't come at me with your take just because you don't happen to like what I am saying here.

That's how marketing works. Random thing nobody expected would get big gets big. Get retirement money out of it by milking big thing. Usually long past its novelty. But you can't force something to become big. It has to get big on its own merit. Otherwise nobody would buy it.

Except, here's the problem.

It's like all other fads. You can keep throwing this argument all you want but in the end, it passes, and it had passed sometime.

It won't be long now until the corporate side of things toss it out and move on to the next thing. Everything that is "big" has a life cycle just like many other things.

So, I guess a better term would be "meme on life support" :v

Never had I thought a shitpost series slapped together in source filmmaker would get bought by a company co-owned by MICHAEL BAY and ruin the original creator's life

we're living in an interesting timeline

No hate towards the creator because he obviously lucked out with the success, but skibidi toilet is honestly such cancer I can't even comprehend it.

Imagine making a project that becomes so popular that someone just claims ownership on everything you made

What if DaFuqBoom never gave the rights to Michael Bay for adapting Skibidi Toilet? In that timeline, would that Blender/Gmod animatior never have those problems?

Personally, I think Skibidi Toilet is best as a web-series and nothing else; no video games, movies, comic-books, nothing. Nowadays, licensed media fail so easily, or don't feel the same as the source material. Studios and companies want to do that for cash-grabs.

By the way, the only thing I like about ST are the solders and agents that they fight. The people with suits, and have cameras, televisions, speakers, and guns. Not only do I think that's cool and awesome, but it also gives me Chainsaw Man vibes.

I understand that, with the high amount of absurdity within the characters.

Invading sentient toilets performing scat music on a legal dispute may be another example of ownership era. Example of what I am still baffled. Do we seek any form invasion to market reason for cause of destruction? The thing folks do for more lemons.
