happy new year everyone i just wanted to pop on and give a little update on Scary Kid's Adventure 3, now before you ask yes the game is still in development but nothing will be changing about its release year "right now"

i say right now because who knows if this game will actually release in 2026, im still confident that it will but there could be a potental it could be dellayed another year depending on how good i want to make this game and with Applico's School "a pico's school clone made in scratch by @marsybarz " getting featured it makes me even more motivated to show people what can be made in scratch when in the right hands. Ok i think it might be a little bit unfair that i havent given any new info on scary kid's adventure 3 in a little bit so im gonna show you guys some new voice actors that will be voicing some characters

getting tagged in this post lead to me playing Scary Kid's Adventure (i'll probably check out the sequel later)

i actually really liked it despite its nature and it makes me actually quite happy that applico's an inspiration for anything in the first place. a friend said "it looks like a pilotredsun video that got turned into a game". using scratch makes me wanna rip my hair out but yeah in the right hands its surprisingly more capable then one'd think

one recommendation is to use turbowarp packager for putting a game on newgrounds (turbowarp.org, load game in, file -> package, customize to your liking and export as zip) because its really customizable [allows for a fullscreen and pause button, a loading graphic, etc.], loads 10x faster, and i think doesnt have that weird question mark glitch. turbowarp's also just really great for developnig in general, like 75% of applico's development was done using it (while still making sure it's scratch compatible, since i released for both scratch and NG). the NG addon allows for medals n scoreboards n stuff too if theres any reason for you to wanna use those. good luck out there!!

i did learn about the turbo warp packager and just turbo warp in generall last year spicificlly for making metals and its also how most scratch games were puo onto newgrounds but yeah i basiclly copyed the embed code for the 1st 2 games and the prequal and i do plan on using turbo warp to add finishing touches to the game when its finished spysificlly metals and maybe gamepad support but yeah the question mark glitch does happen sometimes esspecially on SKA2 it is an easy fix tho but yeah thx 4 playing and commentingand i have magor respect for you
