I wanna get back into animation and wanna try that program out. Is it good and do you recommend it? Why or why not?

I have used OpenToonz and it is fun to use it!
You can use Raster and Vector.
You can set the frame rate to however you'd want to like: 24FPS, 12FPS, 6FPS, 3FPS and such.
There are many kinds of brushes you can use, for Raster and Vector.
You can write text.
You can use any resolution you'd like, like 1920x1080, 1280x720, but also 500x500, or heck even 12x23203!
There are certainly a lot of options you can do.
I have one major drawback with it though...
It likes to crash... a lot. And the crashes can be especially terrifying to the point where your computer can malfunction for a good few minutes. And I have gotten that a lot... Like a lot. Maybe it's just a me thing that this thing can crash a lot, since my storage data usage is like pretty low and I had always gone for 24 FPS so far, but it has happened to me quite often. Make sure to render them all in seperate parts, then put them all together, since trying to render it all can be really risky and also make sure to Save Save Save a lotta times. It can easily crash.
The vector layers have issues with the fill tool not working well. It seems like there are problems with how unclosed gaps are detected and, unfortunately, the automatic gap closing feature is still pretty bad, I'd say. Plus, line smoothing in the case of vector layers leaves a lot to be desired. The raster layers are fine but they aren't better than what Krita has to offer.
its good for advanced and professional animations (if you know what i mean)
