How is Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss so popular? I try watching both series, but the soap opera drama, cringy jokes, and heavy cursing are not sitting well with me. Can someone explain these shows to me? Also, what the heck is Tumblr art?

They're just good shows. They have great characters a great plot idea. Also Hazbin has some the best songs I've heard in the modern era.
I'm not really sure what to tell you OP.
Even for all the faults Vivziepop has in her writing and animation, she pretty much managed to be one of the first people to make independent animation on youtube more viable given how shitty youtube's algorithm is.
That's not an easy feat to accomplish and that's where she does get the respect she gets. Despite the fact that she can't keep herself out of drama.
