Reviews for "Sundered Hope"

I had a lot of fun once I learned how to play! The bullet-hell vibes were nice and there wasn't too much going on at once. I really liked the idea of having to collect your arrow once you've used it too. More information in the beginning about what does damage to you/what you're trying to do damage to would be helpful.

So, this was a very fun game, honestly pretty intiuitive, though I'm not sure if this happened to anyone else but there were times where i was walking through the center of a guardian and i got hit while it was stile regenerating and not active. Sometimes it didn't do that though, so i'm not sure if it's intended or not. Also, there were times where a guardian reactivated and the orbs started moving again right as I was close to them, leading to a hit. I know it's majorly skill issue, but maybe a period, like a second or so where the start moving, but don't damage you/can't be damaged?

When the guardian is reactivating, small particles from its core circle around its center. These can hurt the player, but the player’s hitbox is surprisingly small, so there’s a good chance you can dodge them. They’re a bit hard to notice (just 1px), so I might need to make them larger. Thank you for playing and I’m really glad to hear you had fun.

very confusing and not much rush to finish the game, it would be nice if a tutorial existed

I like it, but it is way too hard, and there are no instructions. The challenge comes from overly-cramped conditions that the player's choices & skills can not affect, because the map is so small. This is a design flaw.

This was a truly bizarre game. I like the fact that I had to really experiment with it to understand that. I mean, it's not great as the graphics could be better. It's still worth playing, because it is quite adventurous. I didn't read the author's comments on how to play it at first. I'm actually glad I didn't!

It was more fun to figure out how to play this odd game. I especially liked how I thought you had to just pick up the blue thing. I didn't know there was a boss. It all just seemed so random. I'm proud of myself for figuring it out on my own!
