Longer than you would estimate before you start working on it. xD
I want you to go outside, get a horse and marry it, have 7 children, take them to school, and when you are satisfied with your existence, come back, breathe, and analyze your question.

I don't think horses can breed from human DNA

I never mentioned anything about breeding with a horse using human DNA. That's why you need to go outside, my friend.

Are you a rapist or just confusing me?

How long do you think it takes to make an animation? Something so extensive with no average time, they all last a different amount of time. It could take you minutes or years, great mind.

Yea few minutes from ai or few years by hand on highly realistic animations
But I could like to know the average just so it could be easier to tell real from stolen

Don't involve AI in this. Any experienced animator can create a good animation for you in minutes.

I just wrote to you that there's no average. And I have no idea how that's going to help you... stolen?
You wouldn't even use your brain or be more specific. There are so many factors that can affect the production of one, you know? Animation method, style, type, equipment, tools. I can make a 1-minute sakuga-style animation in an hour, while I can animate an "average-length" anime episode in a day or two.

You can make a two-minute animation in a couple of days by yourself? That's very impressive. Do you any uploaded that are public?

Czyszy is correct. If you're doing it by yourself and aren't repeating steps you've already taken enough times to know how to make a solid estimate, then it'll take longer than expected.
How long on average? Anywhere from fifteen minutes to hundreds of hours of work. The amount depends on what you're doing with what tools and how much of your existing skillset you're using versus how much you have to learn.
But if this is for guessing if someone else is using generative AI...? That's hard to do if you aren't very familiar with what specific people can and can't do well with the media.
The time it takes to get a generative model to spit out something passable and not an obvious waste of energy varies, too.

if professional team is working well it will take a month for one animated scene. That may be like 3 minutes at most. This is the reason there is recycled scenes.

I said I can do one minute of sakuga-style animation in an hour, or the average length of an anime episode (which tends to be 16-18 minutes) in a day or two. I say this with confidence because I have the skill to do it, but not the tools. Given the situation in my country, I have to use an 18-year-old PC with 2GB of RAM, and a 25-30 second animation simply results in a blue screen due to lack of memory. So the most I can do is 10 to 20 seconds, and ironically... they take longer to export than to create lol.
Do you any uploaded that are public?
Two animations in two hours, frame-by-frame style; the second one was done twice. 32 frames that took half an hour to export. They used to take three times longer, but I had to adjust them to prevent my PC from crashing.
5 animations, the first one took 25 minutes, the rest less

An animation request, 22 seconds long, took me a little over an hour. The torture was waiting for my PC to render it all, but that's essentially my point. If my country weren't in the situation it's in and I had the right tools, my profile would have more than 363663 animations

Meanwhile, I took maybe three hours today for an tiny animated banner with a cycle that lasts less than a second. 😄
It was on a very cracked smartphone screen using an obscure pixel art app that doesn't have a feature for adding text, but yeah, no comparison. I think your skills are impressive.

If you are eager a bounce animation is a good starter. It may vary by how much detail that is put into it, but you see the work in action. A 5 second animation may take 10 minutes, but there is no shame if it takes longer as you are progressing a lot just for taking this step.
Depends on how long you want it to be but even small animations take weeks,Or maybe even months.

^ this...spot on.
about a day or two. tho mine are pretty simple, the hardest part is the background for me. find those 2 days of non stop animating in between the hustle and bustle of life is the tough part. but its all worth it when you see that final product =)
