Yestercade Meetup
@BrandyBuizel recently hosted a Newgrounds meetup at Yestercade in New Jersey. Around 50 people turned up and it was great seeing familiar faces along with new ones! Toxic Avenger 4k Box Set
Troma released an eight disc collectors box with all of the Toxic Avenger movies in 4k!
Lloyd Kaufman sent me the box set because I got my eyes poked out in the fourth movie but I also feel compelled to give it a plug for old times’ sake.
Other News
We updated the Art Portal with true multi-image and multi-author support! We have a long list of items still getting sorted out, expect some improvements to go live this week.
We migrated collections and series into an upgraded Playlist system, so now people can manage their own series pages, set up music albums and more!
Today is the Taifau Cafe Art Contest deadline, with XPPen tablets as prizes!
November 20th is the Sega Saturn Collab and Sketch Collab 2023 deadline.
November 28th is the LISA Campfire Collab deadline.
December 11th is The Sweet Sixteen Comic Contest deadline, with $1k in prizes!
January 15th is the Break It Up Collab breakbeat audio deadline.
January 30th is the Kamen Rider Collab deadline.

Our Halloween Spooktacular is in progress, with lots of prizes and community events!
@DrSevenSeizeMD is hosting a Pumpkin Carving Contest!
@deathink is hosting an art contest where you mash up NG characters with your favorite horror video game. Entries are also eligible for Spooktacular Art prizes!
@Thetageist is hosting an additional Halloween-themed game jam! Costume Jam 2023 tasks you with making a dress-up game that has a novel twist of your own design. Deadline is October 31st, read the post for more details! Entries in this jam are also eligible for Spooktacular game prizes.
