Flash 8 Auto-save? 2010-06-28 15:46:23

FUCK! After 6 hours of fucking hard work finishing my school animation project my Flash crashed, and I, with my stupid overworked head, forgot to save it all this 6 hours. I'm fucking stupid I know but I'm really depressed, because it was turning out awesome.
Now my question is, is there some kind of backup program for Flash 8 on mac, or does Flash has this built in automatically or something? Please help, 'cause this is the second time this bullshit happens.

I'm stupid.

Personally I ctrl+S after every line of code I write, so my stuff is always saved.
The downside is, it becomes a habit and you attempt to save every webpage you are on when you are writing something.

It's not a bug, it's a feature!

there are many file retrievers out there. but if you never saved it at all, you can get the swf file. open finder, then:

--> user name --> library --> caches --> temporary items --> you may find something called "untitled-x.swf"

this may or may not work, because im using cs5, so it may work differently.

Thanks for the good hint! I didn't find the swf file but I found some DreamWeaver files I lost earlier.

Me too, I was working on my new intro for my Microsoft Agent Character Elimination. But due to my twin sister moving the chair when she's not supposed to, I lost all of my Macromedia Flash 8 progress, all thanks to my dumb sister.
