Good! I think his overall lore and story is actually kinda scary. I definitely find him a bit unnerving than say Jevil or any of the other bosses. I think Snowgrave is to blame with me finding him a bit weird.
And a rather weird thing that I’ve been thinking about is that his story has many familiar story beats with lovecraftin tales. Dude finds hidden knowledge, goes insane and is desperately trying to restore himself. I know it’s just me being incredibly biased with my viewpoints since I’m a sucker for Lovecraft shit.
But that’s my insane ramble for the month lol.

That explains why my Elder Sign symbol started trembling near you. The paintings of monstrous anthropophagists in your hallway should've tipped me off.
By the way, I read that your house used to be inhabited by a witch. Have you perchance been dreaming of any horrible rat creatures with bearded humanoid faces?
Really hope there won't be any meteors breaching through the heavens to land close to your home either. Decay can come in colorful forms.
Oh, and your neighbor's AC unit is awfully, awfully loud. Heard the poor man has a particularly unique condition which has him stuck at home...
On the plus side, he has good time to take care of any vermin. No rats in the walls, but maybe there are remnants of more such terrible scavengers in the cellars.
All kidding aside, though i'm rapidfire spouting surface-level Lovecraft story knowledge, it is a delight for me to see someone mention their love for Lovecraftian tales, and therefore presumably the Eldritch as well.
What's some of your favourite stories, if i may ask?
