On the plus side, he has good time to take care of any vermin. No rats in the walls, but maybe there are remnants of more such terrible scavengers in the cellars.


All kidding aside, though i'm rapidfire spouting surface-level Lovecraft story knowledge, it is a delight for me to see someone mention their love for Lovecraftian tales, and therefore presumably the Eldritch as well.

She is done. I guess I should actually explain why I made this piece. I designed her for the Music Gijinka collab, and she’s based off the song Answer to yourself, from the band Soft pack.


I get a bit of surf rock and some beach vibes, so I wanted to do something with the ocean. Also I gave her a name and some background info. Her name is Isabel, and she lives at a small port town, Port Fishabel, which is located near the border of Mexico and is right next to South Tail island.


I was originally gonna have her last name be Padre, cause Isabel and Padre are both small references to the beach and town that my family visits almost every summer. But I guess the inner Hispanic in me thought it sounded way too stupid, since that literally means her last name is father, in the priest kind of way.


I asked my mother, And multiple members of her side of the family that is fully Mexican, and they all said that the last name is cute and funny especially since it’s a small reference. But, man i just couldn’t do that, sounded way too stupid to me lol.


Anyways, I’m doing this weird thing where I want to leave little references and small nods to the area I grew up in. I especially want to do this for any bigger projects im apart of.

Wow sax actually doing traditional art…. It’s been a million years. Anyways for my drawing 1 class I have to do some sketches of my favorite subject matter to draw so uhhh skulls and weird stuff.

Kinda been wanting to make up my own Frankenstein/monster design since I’ve been Re-reading the book in my spare time while I wait for class. Also some other stuff. I’m doing some decoration doodles for a project for a different class. Trying to go for more medieval vibes. Honestly might do the rest of the doodles digitally so there’s not really a limit on which medium we can use for this class.

Some gesture drawings/still life I had to sketch out yesterday in class.

Had to draw out a bunch of boxes stacked together that had cloth on top of them. They’re ok, and the drawing class itself is fine. Just kinda wished I wasn’t looked down upon so much. My Apraxia makes me pretty slow unfortunately when it come to drawing and other stuff involving motor skills.

Yeah it ducked having people laugh at my art and what not. But I’m ok, I rather pass my class and do my own stuff than to impress random people in my class.

Had a pretty good day at my 2D foundation class yesterday. We were doing sketches, cause we have to figure out what we want to paint for our next session. We’re currently learning about different color schemes which is great cause I know color is my biggest struggle when it comes to art.


I did 2 sketches, the first one is goofy because my friends and I were talking about Ao Oni, and I thought it would be funny if I actually committed to the bit and draw that lil fucker for our painting assignment. My professor really likes the sketch, but I feel so bad for her. She was looking over my shoulder while I was sketching and got kinda scared of my Ao oni. In her own words it looks scary but in a good way.

Meanwhile my friends say he looks super ugly but they said that as a compliment lol.

2nd sketch was me drawing Japhet from OFF. I think I did a pretty good job actually. Professor and friends really liked it as well, but my professor prefers Ao oni while my friends like Japhet better lol. Anyways I’m currently inking this guy digitally cause I want to make him into a full piece.

PFFFF YEAH! He looks super duper fucking ugly. I think that’s why my friends and professor were a little freaked out lol. The movie is fucking bonkers too. I accidentally went down an Ao oni rabbit hole because I watched a VOD of somebody playing the game.

I have no idea how I did it, but I finished this in one day. Guess it was easier since I already had the sketch done. I’ll admit it’s a bit rough especially with the lineart but I still really like it. Maybe I’ll do more sketches traditionally and do everything else digitally. Hmmm who knows

I swear to god this is the dumbest way I’ve ever made money. Remember that traditional sketch I did of Japhet. Well I had to draw him 2 more times and we have paint all 3 of our paintings different color schemes. I suck ass at painting, I have no experience in it. But once I turned in my assignment one of my sisters actually liked it and paid me 30 bucks to keep it. Guess she really likes blue. I’m not going to show it here because it’s really bad, and I didn’t put any effort in it.


But I’m gonna tell my professor that I’m just practicing with local freelancing lol

Funny you say that, because my client originally wanted me to draw the warden, but she quickly changed her mind. However, I did do a rough sketch of him trying to figure out what body type I wanted to give him. I was thinking of going for a fat but strong kind of body type for it.

Working on some personal art. Hopefully I’ll finish it before Halloween but I’m not counting on it lol.

Anyways I got really inspired by this previous project I had to do for my 3D design class. I called it the King’s Garden because burger king and what not. We had to make our very own planter with our own design so I used a BK cup and planted a stick plant in there. I actually kinda liked how it looked so I wanted to make a piece based off it. This was the project that I did a bunch of doodles for. Unfortunately this was the only good photo I have, so I did my best to cover up everybody’s face that showed up. iu_1285690_11412191.png
