Can you survive as a fragile bulb and not get tangled or worse against the hordes of shadows?
Nothing can go wrong or it's game over.
Christmas has passed, but what happens to the decorations now? They must survive in the attic until next year. If one bulb goes out, the entire strand dies.
Originally made for the 2025.1 Brackeys Jam with the theme of: Nothing can go wrong
I'm really happy with how this turned out and figured I'd post it when the time of year was right. This isn't the original jam version. I fixed some things and rebalanced it a little.
i was going to play this for like 5 min before i go to bed. its been half an hour. really cute visuals and satisfying gameplay!
Wow, this is actually a pretty neato survivors-like with a very innovative concept! Having your weapons all be lights on a string that follows you like a snake actually adds a lot of interesting strategic elements, like properly spacing your weapons for ideal coverage and adjusting your movement patterns to not let them bite your vulnerable tail the farther the game goes on. The game doesn't stop there, though, being sure to include a nice variety of enemies, a tricky arena to fight within, bosses, and an overall juicy and addictive game feel. Well done, especially for a game jam!
