That old building is still there...? I guess there's nothing stopping someone from going inside...
'Pajama Girl' is a short Horror themed exploration game about a defunct museum that was abandoned so quickly, they didn't even have time to clean up. This game acts as the final showcase project for the Creepypasta Jam. You play as a young girl who explores the decrepit building to find and listen to Cassette tapes left behind... just for her. Heavily inspired by Creepypastas and General Internet Horror, Pajama Girl is a love letter to the digital campfire stories of old and acts as a warm embrace to the new generation of virtual atrocity's spawned from the genre in the modern day.

All the audio-fiction work you can find and listen to in-game are the submissions to the previously mentioned Creepypasta Jam, it tasked participants to create modern original horror stories based on the themes and stylings of a Creepypasta. A large chunk of the paintings on the wall are also produced by guest artists. In the spirit of keeping classic internet horror alive, I hope you enjoy what everyone has created. Happy Halloween!
Expect long load times on first launch!

Let's just rest here for a little while... alright?

i absolutely adore this game, but it would be nice if the tapes had subtitles.
genuinely addicting omg
Hey, this is a pretty neat game, and a very creative choice for presenting collaborative artwork! The mysterious vibes and the general gameplay kinda gave me vibes of other games like Yuppie Psycho, Ib, and so on. It was fun to wander around, solve puzzles, meet weird characters, listen to creepy stories, and eventually make it to the end! I'm sure I'm missing some secrets, and a lot of the purple prose kinda flew right over my head so it was a tad bit unsatisfying, but I still enjoyed the journey. Nice work!
A few notes I made during the experience:
*I wasn't sure if the paintings on the wall are also submissions from users like the cassette tapes. If so, it'd be nice if you can examine them to see a zoomed-in picture and the artist name. In general it'd also be nice if there were more interactables, especially if they have nice flavor text and clue you more into the main character's personality.
*The creepypasta tapes are nice, but kind of awkwardly integrated compared to other games with audio logs: if you're playing the game normally where you're walking around talking to people, solving puzzles and so on, you're constantly getting interrupted, and you might end up either just awkwardly standing in place to listen to them in full, stalling your gameplay, or just avoiding listening to them altogether.
*Game could be a bit glitchy at times: for example, one time when I loaded a save I was stuck immobile in the bathroom stall it spawns you in. Luckily when I reset and loaded again I wasn't stuck.
*It wasn't too much of an issue, and the game does hint at you to go to the bathroom, but initially I assumed that the game auto-saved and I lost a lot of progress.
*Tape interface is overall pretty impressive, but it's lacking certain quality-of-life features, such as not being able to see the timeline when rewinding/fast-forwarding, so I'm unable to tell when exactly I'm supposed to stop.
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT
