This is a cute little SHMUP!
The childen's book/claymation artstyle is nice, I love the focus on boss fights, and I love that they've got a decent variety of attack patterns to them which makes it quite the journey! The weapons are fun to experiment with too, though they can be a bit imbalanced (for example, taking the homing candy canes feels mandatory with how often bosses can go behind you).
There are certainly some rough spots to the game though. We already mentioned the gun imbalance, but furthermore the supposedly powerful weapons like the tree rockets feel weak because even if they are technically doing more damage, they don't feel like it because they result in a tiny explosion which is the same as any other bullet. It's also really awkward when you win because not only can the boss keep firing while they're dying, the victory screen will send you back to the title instead of to the level select. There's also a lack of sound effects and other issues that just make the game feel a bit unfinished.
Still, all in all, it kinda reminds me of something like Cuphead, and I had a fun time. Not half bad!
