I'm not all that familiar with KP, so can't comment on the quality of the recreation. Having said that, the story quality here is generally high, and there's a lot of content. It's also getting lost in its own complexity later in the game, and could probably benefit from some heavy duty image and audio compression. And, yes, it's making no effort to hide its dirty debugging underwear. With polish, however, it could be very good. Meanwhile, autosaves are your friend.

Oh yea, this game is broke-broke. First, the opener had very low resolution. Second, once you get to your house, it gives you a 'test' option that basically bricks the game. If that needs to be there, fine, but label it "don't click this, game will break."
The art looks good, and it seems like a decent enough remake. Though, do be careful. These characters are canonically under eighteen and I didn't see anything establishing they're at age of consent. That's a big one to include.
