MMM

we decided to take this theme more literally, depicting a race rather than the environment - the first half sets the scene. you're in the arctic, it's cold and snowy. the second is more about the race itself, specifically the final lap - tensions rise as the song transforms into a gabber track, as you try your best to win the race.
as you cross the finish line, a fanfare plays. you just won.

I really like the approach taken on this track.
tho to me personally the first half actually feels like it fits both race and the theme almost perfectly, this kind of rhythmically rich music is very nice to listen to when driving and drifting or having some high speed exchanges, the second half is very intense compared to the first half i am not a big fan of that style choice tho surprisingly i enjoyed it quite alot.
Overall this is a very decent entry and i simply have to appreciate the eclectic approach.
I'm pretty uncertain about the choice of instruments... They sound pretty low quality most of the time, such as the (sploinky sounding?) lead at the beginning
I also think there's a bit too much of highs in the drums, making it not really satisfying to listen to while blasting at max volume. The transition from 1:13 is really cool and epic, but a bit random, especially with arctic in mind. From 1:50 it's a cool idea, but I wouldn't say it has the best execution unfortunately, the drums get really really muddy in the mix. I do like the little victory jingle at the end though!
Another positive: I think the intro's chord progression sets the tone really well for arctic surroundings
