Hellsing Legendary - It would be like Ultimate, but more legendary.
Hellsing Epic - It would be like Legendary, but more epic.
Hellsing Insanity - It would be like Epic, but more insane.

It is a fact that 99% of short-form content is garbage. This is true, I’ve done the research, and it all matches my calculations. I’m also very tired of this AI nonsense, it’s very annoying and very obnoxious.
Concerning the Tide Pod Challenge. I think it’s good that we have some form of natural predators, even if they’re inanimate objects that can be bought in a supermarket. It makes me feel like survival expert.

Fuck, i loved Hellsing and Hellsing ultimate. Literally my favorite animu of all time. Loved the unashamed edgyness of it as a teen and still do. I like that you mentioned the round glasses thing. I think Kota Hirano just has a fetish for glasses and gloves like tarentino feet style. I think it's even literally adressed and joked about in either the hellsing or drifters manga. By the way if i remember correctly the gun nerd in highschool of the dead is actually inspired by hirano since they share the same name, look, and affinity for guns. Blood+ was great too. Probably the most brutal anime ive seen. Shame on clay for saying he hated the dub. It's better then the sub imo specifically because all the accents get hammed up and in the original it's just all japanese lol. Also: Yall are pumping these episodes out, i really need to catch up

Okay here's another question for the podcast: If you could "steal" one artistic ability (shading, character design etc) from another artist (living or deceased) which would it be?

Edit: Yea it was blood C. Honestly i don't remember much of it other then that the deaths where brutal. You could really feel the weight of these huge monster creatures which is pretty rare i think. Sorry then Clay lol

I love Hellsing Ultimate and Hellsing manga. One of my favorites in action genre. Stylish, brutal, lots of action, pretty cool characters. Some moments are probably too pretentious, but overall the level of coolness is high enough to keep you hooked all the episodes. Also, Alexander's blades are bayonets, his nickname is basically Father Bayonet )
As for other titles mentioned - Vampire hunter D was pretty cool too, mostly for its impressive visuals.
Blood the last vampire was pretty neat but not that powerful for me, I never watched other parts of the trilogy though.
Rosario to Vampire is actually a cool manga, with lots of self-parody elements, nice set of characters in a pretty intensely escalating story. But it's anime adaptation is in my list of WORST adaptations ever cause it is just insufferable concoction of fanservice and dumb jokes.
I actually tried to watch XXXHolic some time ago, but was not really into it and dropped after a couple episodes. Cool music themes though.

Speaking of action genre, I wonder what you'd think of Claymore?
