Spreading the word of Arrabbiata sauce to the world here! I'd never heard of it before this... though speaking of Italy, I've been studying pizza history a bit, after just recently trying some real sourdough-based wood-oven-baked impossible-to-eat-with-hands authentic Neapolitan style such. Did you know a Margherita traditionally has just basil as main herb/spice, whereas a Marinara traditionally has just oregano? And that the latter was a cheaper option made specifically for seafarers back in the day - entirely without cheese, so all required ingredients could also be stored for longer? And that it is in fact blasphemous and unforgivable to have seafood on pizza; such toppings are reserved for pasta only? In Italy that is...
Though cheese! All types of cheese... hell yeah.
1900-1910 New York newspaper rooms was not the answer I expected on the time travel question! Interesting. Didn't know of Winsor McCay either! Or Chester Gould (I do know Edd Gould, of course..). Or Bill Blackbeard. I did know about jim-ether though! Did not know he was still going strong elsewhere...
I wonder how different the answer on where you would've teleported today had been if I'd been a bit clearer on there being an instant return trip included should you need it. XD
Chuckle times and nudity huh! XD Indeed. As for the world we ARE technically in space but... anyway:
I've been educated, enlightened, and totally captivated for two hours y'all. You have a way with words @Jonas, and abrim with appreciation for the site! Fun stories; factoids; all.
@Aalasteir is there a cut around 36:49? Audio cut out temporarily? Curious what happened there.
Great interview. Didn't feel like two hours at all.
