Because I want something actually completed before the months out, gonna put the other one on hold...for now.
This one's not gonna be no picnic either, but at least it's just a loop.
Not even halfway done. Got more to ink and color, then the clean up, then the highlights and shadows... woof!
Got to rendering that arm out fully since it was the most complex part of the animation, so everything else should be a quicker to complete...right?
Yeah, it's taking a bit longer to get to the finish line than first anticipated, but I think it's looking pretty good.
And it's done!
Gonna be a while 'fore ya see me round these parts. That took a looot outta me.
Back working on some new bullshit after bullshit got flung at me.
Doing another pass of one of the animations as its original resolution was faaaar too low. It was just a practice thing at the time, but now that I'm going to do something with it, I had to up to a much more respectable resolution.
Gonna take the time to do some clean-up while I'm at it.
Now at the point where at least one of the characters should be recognizable to peeps who can...well, recognize 'em.
Wardrobe notwithstanding.
Got in the inks and popped on some colors just to see how it felt.
Colors'll almost certainly change before it's finished. Now for the captain's inks.
Got the clothing rendered out better. Now for the other character's getup. God willing, it won't be as a much of a hassle as this one was.
Turns out it was a much bigger hassle! Gave it two different attempts and I still think I didn't get it right.
Lotta things been slowing down my productivity these past few months, but still I soldiered on and now I can call the animation officially complete!
Now to decide how to use it...

This was a notably fast turn around for me. It's a little less ambitious in the number of frames, but I'm still proud of how quickly I was able to get this done compared to prior efforts.

This might be the last update before the finished product cause rendering's not much beyond just being...reeeeally time consuming.
And I finished it.
...but I didn't. I'm actually in the middle of adjusting it to make the animation better and less chunky and clunky.
Got much farther. Prolly gun be a while 'fore a new update after this.
And done inking...and the animation in general.
Could use a lil more refinement, but I'll get to it later.
