Probably something that should have been included in the Author's Comments to avoid this kind of situation. Vetting the entrants is logically part of the process, after all.
Out of curiosity, are the named participants in the band actual people? Or is it all just part of the mystique?

It’s been a really rough couple days with university stuff (found out in the middle of an anime studies lecture and had to resist the urge to do shrieking in class), so finding out we did so well is a really lovely pick me up. Thanks so much all!
