I played through the game multiple times, and I understand Maron a lot better than my initial first impression from the art pieces. I'm going to do my best to convey her personality accurately.

Just following up:
The project is half done.
Since there is both an illustration for the reality and the hallucination, I am going to experiment with different techniques to show the transition of one reality to another. Examples being a comic book page that devolves via overlay transparency, or a gif that fades or flickers from one POV to another.
Either way, it's gonna be neat.
