My user name comes from a Dungeons and Dragons character I use to play. Not really a lot to it I just liked the name. Had to put some numbers in there since the username is usually taken everywhere I go. A little leet speak later and here we are.

I was obsessed with the original flash version of SAS 4 zombie assault,
Favorite gun was the CM (Critical Mass) 440 Titan,so my ass tried for long to get the BLACK variant which looked very cool,never got it,flash died,mobile/steam ver. (steam is a,poor mobile port,both missing everything) sucks,lmao
Also 440 in it just matched magically because i like the number
My name was supposed to be from the Iliad. In my translation Diomedes was used, but a combination of bad spelling and bad memory I used Diomes for years online only to discover much later (by way of a similar forum question) that I was wrong... Oh well...

it wasnt taken ;-;
My username came about when I was thinking of an artist name that would sound cool and nice when pronounced (?, that's where k4tashi came from. I added the 4 to the name to make it look more aesthetic and not as simple as katashi, And that's it, nothing else xd
Niko (ノ´ヮ`)ノ*: ・゚
It is my anagram plus my surname (B. Bánk), with the aposthrope removed.
And Ill say it again, NO, I AM NOT A FINANCIAL INSITUTION, SO DONT ASK MONEY FROM ME.
(Plus fact: the NK part in my name was originally not capitalized, only after 2023. First reason was aesthetics, second was that it fit my logo better, and third is that NK is the abbrevation of the hometown I was born in)
Back in early 2021, I made a shitty webcomic called OffSwitch. Later on, I made a Newgrounds account and called it "FlickeringOffSwitch" because just "OffSwitch" was already taken. I made an alt for that account later that year. Anyway, I lost the first account soon after and had to use this one. I'm gonna have to pay to change it sometime.

Before I finally settled on Dexter-04, I was going to be called TOM1K-444 because that was the username I almost always used in all the online video games I played with my friends. They knew me by that name in all the games I played. But when I joined Newgrounds (just recently), I hesitated a lot about going back to TOMIK because I felt that name wasn't serious enough to use on this site. My name (Dexter-04) is from a well-known TV series if you look it up, or maybe you've already seen it, lol. But it's the name I chose professionally to separate video games from music. For me, that change was necessary. I don't know if you've ever gone through the same thing with your past, changing so that things are finally taken seriously (in my case, music).
My old name was Cartoon Stutios (I have that name) because I made dumb little animations on YouTube, then I went to SaltNvinegarchips in an underage water bottle(idk why I even did that) then I was ERUPTION (based of Radiation (Toby Fox) and the song Eruption by Van Halen), then for like a day I was Lemon Lord (once again I have no idea why) then finally I am SNvChipehs (SNv stands for Salt N’ Vinegar, then Chipehs (I added “ehs” at the end because it sounded cool))
Pronounced: S • N • v • Chip • ez
When I was trying to make myself an artist name , I first decided to go with "Vitaline" (which was a combination of Vital + Line) because I thought it would associate with heartbeats and stuff (I was thinking of a name that would suit my song, Open-Heart Refrain). But I sort of let go of that name last second and switched my name to Vital "Chip" because I made chiptune stuff XD . I kept the word "Vital" cuz of the context of "vital life" , which makes sense for a few of my songs haha
Also back then, I would refer to myself as "Astronomy Kid" because i was a big fan of astronomy lol , dunno why I let that one go too :/
