I under stand for the rest but the only reason why I wanted to change keybinds is because I was playing on console. I used both options. a Nintendo controller and a Xbox controller for the nintendo the joystick works but that means to recharge my dash I have to push the joystick down and this mess me up because now I have to push it in the up right corner and one mistake can mess me and my run up no problems with the Xbox tho but I just want it added just incase others just have Nintendo controllers

Keybinds are planned, skipping cutscenes may possibly be in the full game, I might add a speedrun timer if I have the time. The game will not be free once released. I've been working on this for like 3 years, making no money off it, so I kind of need to charge something for it haha. Thanks for playing
This game kicks ass, in a good way. The controls are enjoyable and responsive, the level isn't too difficult, but it's not a cakewalk either. The Metroidvania element is logical and not annoying, and the theme of a haunted castle, pizza delivery and NES-style games is strange but well done. Also the main character reminds me of Brief from Panty and Stocking, except here he has the movement of a bit of modern Sonic and a bit of Mega Man and he gets a goth girl at the end. Great game.

Happy to hear you enjoyed the game! I tried to keep it relatively light on the Metroidvania aspect so the game still feels like there is a path to follow, so I'm glad you appreciated that. There's a lot more to come in future chapters, so keep an eye out for the release:)
Great game I never thought I'd spend 19 or so minutes on getting the memory slice very cool also yes WE are jumping through hoops and hurdles to eat pizza with a vampire girl WE ALL are
