I've seen many review expressing concern with the turning and controls. The game has been updated to 1.0.4 and it should be easier to turn and attack. I hope it helps!
This is my entry for the Newgrounds Flash Forward Jam! For the longest time I've been keeping up with new tools related to flash development. Tools like Haxe, OpenFL and Heaps. Ruffle feels like a silver bullet solution to the end of Flash Player - can't wait for AS3 support. Luckily for me I've been casually working in AS2 and Ruffle, so when this Jam was announced I knew I had to make something!

Great addition to the series that i loved during all my childhood, simple but fresh concept for aww fans
The calm title song washes over like waves on a sandy beach, inhale and exhale to the music feeling the soul cleanse itself. And then, it starts, the beat, the initial waves of enemies are simple, introducing new enemies.
But with every new upgrade, the enemies speed and variety increases, as well as the arrow fire rate, Soon you find yourself in the zone, switching between sword and bow to slay multiple monsters at a time.
Such a simple concept, masterfully done, animations are so satisfying to watch, even dying looks great! And the two tracks complement the game, and elevate the experience.

it is day one of playing starting off with a score of 189 for first run I will be trying others runs for higher score soon
I can't believe I haven't written a comment yet. I love this game, and have been coming back to it every few weeks for over a year now! The controls are really smooth, and the progression of arsenal makes it feel not too repetitive. Overall one of my top games on Newgrounds!
