This is a really neat little platformer shooter with an adorable personality. I love the idea of each level being a little Lode Runner arena with a death floor under it all so you can really explore and approach the levels from multiple directions. The ideas here are incredibly charming and fun as-is, but could be even better with some of the mechanics overhauled and more levels. The gunplay is good, but would go that much farther if it had some more solid feedback. Having the bullets push you backwards, for example, would make the level navigation even more interesting. The enemies get the job done, but I'd love to see this game with some more novel enemies like spiders that can crawl on any surface or enemies that move you into obstacles rather than running directly at you. This was a really charming little 20 minute experience with high potential to be expanded upon.
