wasn't this game called Pengu Saves Christmas demo?

It was! when it was originally released, we still hadn't figured out a proper name, but even back then we had actually steered away from the Christmas themes. A few bugs has also been fixed. But there probably won't be any more updates to this demo!

Controls:

Gamepad supported!!

Movement: Arrow keys / D-Pad / Left analogue stick

Jump: Z / (gamepad) A

Dash: X / (gamepad) X

Pause: Tab / select / start

(if you get stuck, you can press p to start nocliping, or if you just want to explore for fun)

Performance:

If you experience lag, you can try going into the settings menu, and turn off Shader FX, and Shiny Tiles

toggling fullscreen can add weird. you can toggle it with the keyboard if it messes up with controller

Why so short????

This is to share what i've been working on finally, with more time and wiggle room i might have added leaderboards, achivements and more levels, but since i really wanted to share before new years. I've opted to keep it simple. I hope you enjoy playing it regardless. It is not a full game yet, so i hope you understand!

Happy New Years, and merry Christmas. This is a Demo/Playtest of a potential full release of

Pengu: Lost and Wanted. The past 2 years i have on and off fine-tuned the movement mechanics, and style, and after all that time i really wanted to finally share something with the world. So through December i with a big help from @bobbyburt have crunched to make a handful of levels to showcase the game.

Everything in the game is subject to change, and we are open to feedback and criticism. A real full game is probably still a few years away!
