On the eve of Tankmas, Pico leaned back to think,
His old chair creaked loudly with each little sink.
The glow of the screen cast shadows that danced,
Till a ding! broke the silence, and his focus was entranced.
“You’ve got mail!” read the text, in bold letters bright,
And Pico, intrigued, clicked the message out of delight.
When what should arrive in the day’s postal haul,
But a coupon for massages—no charge at all!
With his fiery orange locks and his curious grin,
Pico thought, "Why not? Let the pampering begin."
Through the towering forest, the hotel appeared,
Its spires were crooked, its atmosphere weird.
But Pico, undaunted, approached with his flair,
Not sensing the danger that lingered in there...
(especially for that of his luxurious orange hair...)
Pico pushed through the hotel’s heavy front door,
Its hinges creaked loud as he stepped on the floor.
A staircase loomed grand at the room’s shadowed end,
And Pico ascended, his nerves to defend.
At the top of the stairs stood a figure grotesque,
A man in a lab coat, his purple grin quite burlesque.
Dr. Schmuck, as he called himself, raised something near—
A severed, bloodied head of what once was a deer.
Its glassy eyes stared, its mouth frozen mid-cry,
And Pico recoiled, horrified, and said his quick goodbye.
Pico turned on his heel, his coupon in hand,
And sought the massage room, as was planned.
Pico reclined in the massage chair’s embrace,
The goo on the walls glimmered, out of place.
A hum filled the air, soft, low, and deep,
And soon he surrendered to the call of sleep.
Shadows embraced him, tranquil and deep,
No hint of the peril that started to creep.
Then suddenly—click!—a mechanical grind,
And Pico was hurled from the peace of his mind.
A light blazed above, searing and white,
Pinning him down in its merciless might.
Binding cuffs held him, tight and unkind,
While panic surged through his frantic mind.
Pico's mind raced until a voice was heard from the side,
And there stood Dr. Schmuck, his grin stretched wide.
In his hands, a chainsaw, its gears spinning a hum,
Pico could only wonder what was soon to come.
Was Dr. Schmuck truly a villain or something much more?
What is it this blue mal-practitioner had in store?
