Calling it now, Skid's dad is either the leader of the Cult or is somehow a part of it and if he is there's a possibility he's dead because of it. We see in multiple family photos, his face is scribbled or teared out of the photos, he's obviously left his family or Lila's just really hates him for something he did (besides leaving his family... perhaps joining or leading A CULT)... and Pump's parents are a part of it too or something like that and that's why they are no longer in him and his Sister's lives! Left for power and possibly immortality!

Also I love how Skid straight attempts to break the fourth wall but Lila ain't having that shit lol!
