Lots of great music for these first few days! I'll unfortunately be away from home for a bit, but I plan to dive into this once I'm back a little later in the month! Keep it up everyone!

Someone who finally GETS it
Just as an FYI the discord link isn't working!
Big ups Mr Fulp, thanks a ton!
FANTASTIC JOB EVERYONE!!!
With another year of Jamuary in the bag, I want you all to look back at what you've accomplished! There's lots to be proud of, whether you made 1 or 31 songs, and the fact that you pushed yourselves to challenge your own creativity is most certainly something to celebrate!
So for those who took this as a chance to push their skills further, those who took the chance to make their first songs, and anyone in between, CONGRATULATIONS!
Be sure to check out the jamuary2025 tag to hear all the great music put out this month and show some love to your fellow jammers! I'm most certainly going to be catching up on all the tunes I've been seeing posted here and under the tag myself :)
Hope you all had a great time and had fun kicking off 2025! See you around and see you all next year for Jamuary 2026!
day 26, my third submission :)
Day 25 and my second submission :0
And here's my first entry for Jamuary 2025!
Hey everyone! How are we feeling so far? Things are probably getting tough if they haven't already, but we have just a little over 1 week left for Jamuary! Great music I'm hearing so far from everyone that's been posting :)
I've personally dropped the ball a bit since I was out of the country until last week, so no access to any of my production tools RIP. BUT! I've been working on a couple tracks (between my day job) that I'm hoping to get out before the month is over. Certainly going to try to get out a song each day for the next 10 days, too!
Anyways, proud of all of you who have joined in and keep up the great work! Even if it hasn't been every single day, you're still making music and that's a great thing to achieve!

Someone please tell me how you guys are doing the embed I don’t know :(
I think all you need to do is paste the song link into the post and it should auto embed!

I'm losing steam for this challenge...
You're welcome to take a break and come back to it! Even if you can't do every day, it's still great youve pushed yourself so far!
Fantastic first day everyone! Here's to a great second day!
I'm currently unable to make anything as I am in a location with no computer access (been doing this all off my phone), so it will unfortunately be a bit before I'm able to hop in.
Still, excited to keep hearing what you all have in the works in the mean time!

This was an absolutely fucking stupid idea: I’m going to try making 10 songs a day. Don’t do this—it’s a surefire way to get burnout—but I’m going to see if I can create 10 songs every day for the entirety of January. It seems pretty unlikely, I’ll give it a shot.
Feel free to use any of my songs for remixing, or as instrumentals for vocals. And other stuff; they are all royalty-free! You don’t have to give me credit, though I’d really appreciate it if you do! Also, please feel free to use any of my royalty-free songs for commercial purposes like in games. All the profits are yours—I don’t need anything in return. If you want to spend the money on something, consider donating it to Newgrounds!

I really like the ROLI Seaboard 2.
I'm open to collaborating!
Honestly, I’m really happy to be here! I was scared to try this at first because I thought people might find me annoying or think I was trying to do too much.
You are a legend for this haha

Hey! This topic is for folks who are making tracks for Jamuary! I've got an entire news post here outlining the challenge
Hey all! This is the place to post your songs, talk about how much fun/not fun you're having, and just generally hang out! Best of luck everyone!
Hey everyone!
With the first day of February unfortunately comes the end of January :(
However! There has been a ton of music submit for the challenge this year! I know I haven't exactly been on top of it (I've been the busiest I've been in a while IRL), but the fact that there have been more and more people going for the full month has been an amazing thing to see over the past few years!
I plan to jump back through the #jamuary2024 tag to get a good listen to things, but to everyone who participated:
I hope you enjoyed! This month is all about growing and getting yourself out of your comfort zone and I am personally proud of everyone who at least made the effort! Art ain't easy and music certainly not either, but the fact that you were willing to at least try speaks volumes. (no pun intended) ((ok fully intended))
I hope you were able to learn about your process, music, selfs, literally anything this month! Hell, if you've never made music before, I hope you enjoyed this opportunity to try it out! It's not for everyone, of course, but whether you discovered a new passion or flexed your muscles and push yourself to the limit, that is something to be very very proud of!! Music is one of my most favorite things in the world and getting to bring that same joy and passion to other people is really the most gratifying thing possible!
also! If you ever have questions about music feel free to shoot me a message or reach out to folks who participated even! I'd love to see the jamuary community work together outside of this month!
Anyhow, excited to see some of you around over the course of the year and excited to get a solid listen to what everyone has made. Big ups to everyone to gave Jamuary a shot and excited to see you all again for Jamuary 2025!
missed a few days but came up with this for day 16 !!!!
Been awesome seeing and hearing the submissions so far! I've been a bit burnt out from folks visiting and a LOT of travel, so I'm taking a break til Monday.
KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK EVERYONE!!!!!
i just spent like 2 weeks hanging out with people nonstop so i am taking it easy for JAMUARY DAY 3 !!!
Jamuary day 2! Not too fond of the mix but it's something!
I'm a little late but here's my day 1 song!
At 1/1/24 09:51 AM, Low-Power wrote:It's still January 1 for me. I don't think there's a minimal length requirement, right? Either way, I think 1 minute should be enough. I thought, why not throw the first idea I come up with in 10-15 minutes and call it finished? It might be against the spirit of the event that I don't even consider my submissions to be music, but I think it's good enough for me to just stretch these creative muscles more often. Maybe I'll submit a proper song later, maybe.

No minimum length requirement, but I encourage folks to try for at least a minute!
