this should work right?
Scripting. I would hate to make a logic or character behavior error.
Although I sometimes mix some "storyboard" into there too. But lines come first.
Like: "Pov of cannonball towards viewer." or "Gutter b/t 2 panels should look like the door being caved in".
Oooh I'm in! I'll claim Keiki Haniyasushin!
Back when I was BIG into Touhou, she was my absolute favorite!
Also I'll claim an Ariya Iwanaga for funsies

*bows* Thanks for the fun, I had a lot of it
And I will keep being a madman without a DAW! (god bless my 5 year old slow laptop)

It’s about a soon to be high school graduate who’s has no idea what to be in life! It’s about struggling to find a purpose during your new adulthood life (18 - 20). I hope to get some attention on this and make more chapters. If you see this and decided to read it, please tell me what you think!
Looks to me that the story is going to get real interesting. I personally dig the fast pacing.
More chapters are definitely needed (but the art could see some improvement).

Kgo.
are you guys still rating art
Quite a lot of the original posters in here stopped activity *quite a few* years ago from what I see, so I think no. :(
Also: Quite possibly the final boss of art forum necrobumping here, I remember seeing this thread in or near the *absolute oldest* page of the Art forum. Legendary. *claps*
Just looked though your page, you have an lovely artstyle! Have this virtual cupcake from my OC who wants to join

Happy early birthday

There we go, the spoops are gone, now we go back to our usual programming!
I'll bite first. What are your least favorite foods?
Boy oh boy. I submit my first jab at music for the "Cringe" category. Despite listening to various musical pieces for a few years, I couldn't add fitting drums.

This has STORY behind it. (I don't even have a DAW BTW (DAW? More like DAWdling!))
Happy getting damaged wherever, folks
Drawings, no, but the descriptions I do. I would like to express everything that I mean and think about the art.
On first thought, I'd say around a high 4 point something
While I enjoy looking at my finished works, there is still the problem of rendering more unconventional light angles, more varied colors, and making characters look less static. Environments are a relatively untapped area too.

I look up to them and aspire to draw like that. I love the solid blocks and color usage. It looks like something that could be done using only 1 brush.
I followed this artist on Twitter a couple of years ago. Their work is amazing it's just unfortunate the artist is not a good person. I believe they lied about a home situation and scammed a lot of people of their money, but I don't know the specifics.
This is kinda insane...
At the time I first found this artstyle, I couldn't find anything about them anywhere else. My view of this artstyle now has a small crack in it.

These are my favorites from them and the main reason why Kosmoceratops & Bajadasaurus are my favorite ceratopsians/sauropods respectively. They're use of harsh shadows makes their work iconic in my eyes.
I'd be very interested in knowing who're favorite works & why.

Yup, better. It can also be done to the face (a darker version of skin color) and hair (if you can find space to put outlines).

my brother drew the wings but everything eles was done by me. any critiques?
Currently I see black outlining only around the face. I think working on the outlines around the other parts would be a good start.
This piece of yours does a better job at what I'm saying: https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/chch575/v-girl
I think making the outlines a darker version of the color of the part being outlined (not completely black), and referencing other pieces of pixel art would also be a good idea.
Chose this simpler one for you :)
You can drop the megaphone if you want.

Haven't drew ice cream balls for a long time, decided to use this as a chance to keep one of my styles from falling out of practice. If you see any compression on here, I'll find another way to send it.
And for the character representation, the top middle character on here https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/elegantquaternion/quaternion-day-2024
can represent me :)
Quicly sketched this little idea, does it work? The orange at the top is sauce.

Finished my entry today, and posted in discord server!
I'm joining in with a weapon repurposed into a creature for this!
Gonna be fun!
Here is my submission! It has come to my attention that pony anatomy is not so easy to do for me. Mouth gives me the same vibes as those MLP toys that come up on Google Search.

Satisfied with it though :)

BTW, what resolution would you recommend? I'm currently doing 512*512.
i had a few mlp toys as a young girl (i am now 16 year old agender dude)
I remember having a set of MLP figurines, big plushies, and playing pin the tail on the donkey but with Princess Celestia being the "donkey". Good times...
