Here's my drawing - sending love and peace to everyone around the world. Tip for fellow krita drawers - The "dry bristles" brush is really good for getting that chalky outline.

So much choice! I want to go left-field and pick an obscure character if I may, would I be able to claim "Genjii" from "Story of Eastern Wonderland"?
Many thanks!
I'm really excited to see what characters are drawn for this collab and to put together something fantastic for you all at the end.
For me, please can I book Salad Fingers? He's been my avatar since I started on NewGrounds, and I've been waiting for the right opportunity to finally draw him.
As promised, here is my drawing of Sunny Funny.

Best of luck to everyone else in the collab!
This collab is just too fun to not join in! For my entry, I made a clown with a brand new character called Pippin Popjoy. He's very excited to meet all his new clown friends.

I have been in contact with @Dirkalicious, and we have come up with a fantastic idea for a game, which I have been working on today.
The game will launch on Thursday January 15th 2026 to coincide with the collage by @Dirkalicious, and all the clown artists will be added to the project before launch.
The game will be based on an old-fashioned shooting gallery that you would find at a funfair, and here is a preview of what the game looks like:
Good luck to all of you last-minute artists!
WHAT?! THEY'RE GOING TO SHOOT MY VINI?????? THIS WASN'T IN THE CONTRACT
With a custard pie. No clowns will be hurt in the making of this project. :-)

Wow, thank you all so much for all the support - I genuinely can't believe I've got two games in the top 10! I'm so glad everyone enjoyed these games. I've been a big fan of Newgrounds for a long time, and my two recent collab games was my attempt of using my skills to show off the collective skills of fantastic people in this community. Well done to all of the other winners today as well!
This is such a good idea for a collab! I've been working extra hard on my submission for this, and came up with a brand new OC that is able to fit this theme very well. Introducing...Octavius!

There are a lot of excellent characters drawn already in this post, and this is shaping up to be a fantastic collab - really excited to see how the final project turns out!
Wow, I didn't expect to get first place, this means a lot! Thank you again to @starcoryl for hosting the original art collab and trusting me in creating this project. Also, massive well done to every artist who took part in the collab for your wonderful drawings and to the wider community for supporting independent artists from across the world.
This collab sounds really fun! Please can I reserve "Sunny Funny"? Thank you. :-)
Here is my submission to the collab. I didn't think I was good enough to take part in this, but after improving my skills in this year's Secret Santa, I feel more confident and I decided to have a go.
Really excited to see the finished collab!
Here is my submission for the Christmas Cookie Collab.

For this cookie, I drew Pengu from one of my favourite Christmas games, Pengu Saves Christmas.
There's some fantastic submissions already on this board - this is shaping up to be a fantastic collab. :-)
My vote for undiscovered game goes to Newspaper puzzle by @DasSG
It's a fun little mini-puzzle game with different puzzles and endings based on the day of the week.
This was fun, I've never tried making Pixel Art before!
My character is Von Wanst, the main protagonist from Lucky Tower

Also, I'd be more than happy to help you bug test the game.
Here are my nominations for who I think deserves some extra credit in this year's BBS awards:
The Newcomer Award
I really like your art style, it's bright, colourful and clear.

SevenSeize is always very generous in offering anyone on Newgrounds a Xmas card, not wanting anything in return, just for the purpose of sending good will. My card this year had a drawing of a hamburger and chips, and a large pile of confetti which managed to get everywhere!

Takeover Tuesday!
A very touching moment this year was when for the first Takeover Tuesday, the most popular entry was DN8, in honor of Squize who sadly passed away.
A big thank you to @observator who drew my OC this year - it's a really cool design.

There are some really talented artists here in Group E, and this is such a welcoming group to allow everyone to grow and improve. Big thanks to @LegolaSS for running it so smoothly again this year.
Have a merry Xmas everyone, and here's hoping we see you all next year in good health.
Registered! Really excited for it this year, can't wait to see who I'm assigned to.
It's so sad to see the loss of such a brilliant developer and teacher; hopefully their work and passion will continue to inspire many. RIP.

What was the most useful aspect of the old page? Was it pagination?
Pagination was definitely useful. Also the compactness of the page allowing you to see ratings, descriptions, titles etc. all at once clearly.
Also the new version isn't 100% accurate in which games have medals. For example, if you filter by "A" rating (most of these games shouldn't have medals anyway, but I'm just using this as an example), you'll see there's games listed on the new medal page which don't have medals, and even games where the user has closed their account. The old list did not have this problem.

Yay, I'm so excited the inclusive Secret Santa is back. Definitely going to update my OC reference before submitting this year.
I have one small question about the project - should I post it here or PM the host?
So excited to see this back! Best of luck to all of the artists, programmers, game designers, voice actors and every other festive soul taking part.

We had a wide range of artists at different skill levels. But it was great to see everyone do their best!

Have a wonderful winter break, one and all!
Thank you very much for organising the inclusive Secret Santa this year @LegolaSS. It's great to see that everyone who signed up submitted - I hope this sends a message to everyone that even if you lack experience, it doesn't mean you lack motivation - you just need the opportunities necessary to grow.
Looking forward to Secret Santa next year!
With best wishes,
J.C.
This is a brilliant idea, and so nice to allow everyone to take part - it's the true meaning of Christmas! The only way people can grow is through practice, and this is a great opportunity for people to get better and most importantly, have fun.

Normally we frown on asking to be scouted, but I think we can stretch that rule just a bit in the spirit of the season. But let's just limit it to a single post of art links and not be obnoxious or we will have to enforce that rule.
I took part in Secret Santa last year for the first time and it was a brilliant experience. I'd love to take part again this year, but I've never been scouted. I like doing digital art with a cartoony look and some examples of my work are below:

Sequel to the very popular 3 Slices, in my opinion even better than the original.

It's a good 5-minute puzzle game, but with a wonderful message.
