When I was a kid back in 2015 and 2016 I used to play a browser game, it was made in a pixel art style, where you picked a character and went through several dungeons, the cool part was that you could transform into the characters you killed, and if you beat the level with them, you unlocked them to play again.
Furthermore, some dungeons had bosses, and you could even become the bosses.
But I couldn't find that game anymore when the website I used, "Click Jogos," simply removed it. I don't know if it was deleted or just disappeared from the page where I found it, but the fact is that it's no longer available.
No one has ever been able to help me, whether on Reddit or by searching through hours of threads within it, I've never found any mention of this game.
Some people might even confuse it with that knight game where you have 100 endings, but it's not that game, despite the similarities; this one only took place in dungeons.
That's it.

Nah, fuck Spotify
At the same time, we're in an unstable internet ecosystem and where people will congregate to listen to music next is anyone's guess right now
Fr, there a guy with a channel called Venus Theory that explains really good how de royalties in Spotify turned into a gold mine for people with 1.000.000 bots making Ghost playlist with just IA slop, I have luck that no one put a IA slop on my Spotify profile that's would be really bad to get out of there.

Thank you to everyone who responded, I read everything, it was very enlightening.

Secondary is an "ASUS Laptop Vivobook 15 15.6 Inch Ryzen 7 7730U Laptop with 16GB SSD1TB" or model "M1502YA-BQ183W". I use the laptop in school because their Macs suck and all their plugins are old. Both are holding up really well too actually. Was a bit worried that the laptop would crap out if I used any big projects from my main PC but I haven't had any issues yet. And it's cheap still if you're lucky and can find it. I got mine from Amazon JP for around 100k yen (still cost the same), so it's around 600 usd I think. But your experience may vary since you're in Brazil, but reasonably priced stuff should still be out there. It's not too late!
For Linux, I'd say don't. I run 2 Windows copies and one Manjaro on my desktop. One Windows is my old one for games and whatever that Manjaro can't run. Second Windows is just music so it doesn't have anything running in the background. Manjaro is to replace my old Windows for games and whatever. I'd never put anything creative on the Manjaro one. Being forced to tinker when you're in a creative mood just kills it, I like it for normal use though.
hanks a lot for the detailed answer! With the rising prices of RAM and other components, I really need to think if I should save up a bit more to build a Desktop.
Especially balancing college and work, it's becoming urgent to relegate this laptop to simple tasks and do the heavy lifting on a dedicated machine. Almost all my tracks are currently stuttering and glitching. I'm trying to get my brother to chip in so we can buy the PC together.
And regarding the Dual Boot setup you mentioned, yeah, I imagined it would be frustrating/a headache. Thanks again, bro.
I've been saving up for a new computer, but I'm torn between getting a powerful laptop (for portability) or a desktop PC. Currently, I produce everything on a Lenovo laptop with an i3 processor and 12GB of RAM. It's exhausting because more than half of my projects max out the CPU usage. I often can't listen to all elements playing together, which is frustrating during mixing and even worse during mastering.
Looking at specs online, I see recommendations for a Ryzen 7 and 32GB of RAM (plus plenty of SSD storage, which I already have). However, prices are steep and getting worse.
So, I wanted to ask you experienced producers: What are your setups? Are they built specifically for music, or are they gaming rigs that double as workstations?
Also, can anyone speak to the efficiency of using Linux for production? I'm a bit hesitant since many of my VSTs and plugins don't have Linux ports.

Tell me what you think.

Perhaps it's because we remember many iconic Minecraft sounds, such as piano Compositions with violins and much more melodic synthesizers, in general they more sad and nostalgic, but that this track sounds 100% like something you'd find in Minecraft.
When I made a track in this style, I focused more on nostalgia, and honestly, although I managed to achieve a piano composition It had a nostalgic vibe, but it didn't feel 100% Minecraft to me.
If you listen, maybe you'll understand what I'm talking about.

Is there a part of Making music that tends to slow your flow when you create? (Technology interfacing/layering instruments/mixing, orchestral arrangement, etc)
I feel like I am prone to adding too much "fluff." Too much reverb. Too much delay. Too many spacious synths. There's a balance to having a strong core song and fun ornamentation that I feel like I'm still figuring out.
Nailing certain types of grooves is really hard for me. It's especially tough working on tracks with complex rhythms where multiple instruments have interlocking parts. It's a shame, because I absolutely love Disco, French House, and other styles like that.

Here's video of gameplay (keep in mind this video is over a month old and the game has been polished since then):

I’m currently looking for two (2) tracks:
Track A: A good “first real level” song; something that comes right after the tutorial.
Track B: Any genre is welcome. Pop, chipstep, phonk, experimental, whatever! If I like it, I can make it work. Don’t hesitate to send whatever you have, even if it's just you beatboxing. My only requirement is that the track must be under 3 minutes.
For the artists whose tracks I select, I’ll provide:
Thank you!
Hello! So, for Track A: (Soul), it’s quite chill and ambient. I also have this one: (Cassette Tapes).
As for Track B: (The Jazz Machine Learning) — it’s a bit hard to find tracks of mine under 3 minutes, but this is one I really like.
By the way, seeing the video, I really liked the game! Hope I can play it soon.
Thank you!
Recently I've been listening to a lot of synthwave, like The Midnight, FM-84, Essenger and many others, and I also made one of the best songs I've ever made (hyperdrive), and I'm looking for more bands and inspirations in this genre, especially with female vocals, something I haven't found much of for some reason.
Indie and synthwave.
I also can't upload my commission
