So i've been thinking for a while now on how to celebrate a 100 followers on NewGrounds, and i wanted to do something that wasn't just another "oh wow follower milestone, time to make another low effort song" kinda thing. I wanted to do something that would leave a mark, i wanted to do something that makes me more involved in the NewGrounds community, something that forces me to step out of my comfort zone and do something i haven't bothered picking up in a long while.

And when i was talking to one of my friends on Discord about Powerpoint animations and Powerpoint games, an idea hit me.

"Why don't i just make a Powerpoint Collab to celebrate 100 followers?"

And i did just that :D.

Now to be clear, i'm not the first person in the world to have thought of a powerpoint type collaboration online. A popular YouTuber Jazza, made a powerpoint animation and encouraged his viewers to make some animations in powerpoint which he would react to. (fun video, you should check it out :) ).

Second of all, this is not a collab where you could win prizes. I do not have the capacity to reward the winners, even if there were some winners, because i'm broke and i don't have a j*b. I really wish i could something like that, but you have to know your level and where you stand irl before you can do something like that. Really hoping i can do something like that soon tho :).

Um, so yeah! This is a collab alright! Open to animators and artists who are interested!

Sooooo what's the collab rulez?

IMPORTANT RULES
1.THE ANIMATION/ARTWORKS MUST BE IN POWERPOINT (or any PowerPoint program): Because this collab isn't as crazy as Jazza's video where people made PowerPoint animations ONLY in PowerPoint, I'm going to allow the use of video editors and other composting programs to add to your animations/artworks. The animations/artworks must primarily be made in PowerPoint or any PowerPoint like program (i mean, what's the use of making it a PowerPoint collab if it wasn't made in PowerPoint xd). Any additional effect like text, lighting, shading yadi yadi yada, can be used in a video editor or a compositor. I mean, you could go full alpha mode and make everything in PowerPoint, if you want to.

2. NO ANIMATION/DRAWING PROGRAMS!!!: You're kinda cringe if you use an animation software xd. Powerpoint is where the cool kids are at B). Jokes aside, this is strictly a Powerpoint Collab, so no Blender, no Krita, no ToonBoom, no Gimp, and DEFINITELY NO FLASH!!! D:< .

"Oh but nochii, what if i don't have Powerpoi-" LibreOffice, WPS, although it's limited in the free version and many more i can't remember right now.

"Oh but nochii, what if i wanted to make a 3D animation or artwork?" Good question. If it's 3D you wanna make, might i suggest *cough* *cough* Paint 3D? No? UGHHHH fine! If you wanna make a 3D ANIMATION, you could make the models it in Blender, buuuuuut you'd still have to animate it in PowerPoint! No Blender for 3D artworks sorry, you just have to find another workaround :(. Heck, i even found a guy on YouTube who made a PowerPoint animation that looked 3D so y'all aint exempted (this guy).

3.Please no NSFW: This is the Powerpoint collab, not the Boobpoint collab XD. Keep submissions E - M rated.

4.Deadline is May 20th of this year so you can have enough time to do whatever you wanna animate or draw :).

5.For animators: Shortest submission should be 5 seconds. Longest should be 10 minutes :) .

6.Proof of using Powerpoint or any Powerpoint-like software must be shown! What i suggest is you make a 10 second video showing the work you did in PowerPoint at the end of the video for animators. For the artists, you should take a screenshot of the PowerPoint project you made and post it with the finished artwork.

7.There really isn't any genre. Do whatever comes to your mind lol (Suggestions: 2D, 3D, Stop Motion, Music Videos with express permission from the artist pls, Live Action, whatever that comes to your mind i wanna see what creative thing you can come up with :) ).

8.All animation submissions should be sent either to me through Newgrounds dump files or sent through my Discord Server under the #PP-Collab-Sub channel so i can compile the videos and shi.

9.Yes, i will be joining the collab ofc :)

10.This is ONLY a suggestion, but does anyone wanna make music in PowerPoint? XD
