script, much less work when it comes time to revise and re-order
Jamuary? Like strawberry grape etc?
No hl3

Export you animation as a .png sequence with transparency into a folder, then in blender create a image sequence node for a texture, and select you animation sequence image.

heres a tutorial
I played so much Garry's mob once that I had a stroke, and was rushed to the ER, and the doctor picked me up with a Phys gun like a ragdoll and threw me into the wall and I bounced off and knocked over a nurse who's head hit a big metal cube and gave her a concussion and she later died.
Looks down at my penus, it is made of a mere 3 polygons
Me when I see a new Sublo and Tangy Mustard Episode

I eat rocks on camera
I recommend going high so you can make nice giclée prints.

why would anyone use that website, everyone on there was always insufferable.

so I've been seeing some discussions on websites for artists, like that one Cara thread in this forum, ppl saying Pillowfort, some other saying the site u post doesn't matter, etc, etc.
but I've seen some ppl say Tumblr is still alive, there's still a fair level of engagement and a community so it's worth to post and spend ur time there, but what do you guys say?? is there someone here who still uses tumblr 2024?? lol
Theres alot of plugins/scripts floating around, you just gotta know where to seek them out.

What do you people think is needed in the industry right now for 2D animators that is a widespread problem?
To me Animate CC 2019 1.9.1 is like.. the last usable version of the software before the ineptitude of the team virtually broke the fucking software.
I agree, as I'm using the 2021 version and it crashes often.
My milk cartoon took about 1-2 months
but like, it varies depending on how skilled you are, and how much time you dedicate to it daily. I put on my google calender a reminder/block of time ~2 hours to work on it daily.. Also helps to get some people to make some stuff for you, collaboration is a great motivator...
I think like dedication determines if you will finish something or not...
Also like, dont show off your creation to everyone while you work on it, that will sabotage the dopamine you get from finishing, cause basically you are giving yourself that early... But also get critique early on too, find a good balance.

You should do it!
How long does it take you to make an animation?
Just wait for zbrush ipad bro, i promise bro, working on a fucking touch screen without a keyboard is the future bro.

That's really not far off from the experience of trying to make complex digital sculpts using the Nomad app and a tiny phone screen, especially now that it has its own texture baking tools.

Actually, cartoons suck and are for kids. So, none of them...
Writing/Entertainment value, visuals just supplement that I think.
Also depends on target audience, cause you can't have every audience.

No its not dead.
In television alot of it is hand drawn stuff, lots of stuff on adult swim, nickelodeon etc
Sergio Pablos is still making drawn Frame by frame movies
https://thespastudios.com/en/ They made Klaus a couple years back
At 5/4/24 09:36 AM, NK2007 wrote:"About rig animation," is the easiest one compared to frame by frame, but It isn't expressive as frame by frame(well, depends of the animator) obviously people had to change after when digital animation came out, most of modern cartoons was made with rig, well....except the animes.
About Opinions: Rig made animations a little easy to make but It has some problems. most of Studios use Rig to not waste time, Just like as "limited animation" which i understand because some cartoons are monthly released. But the main problem is Less quality(well....depends of the Cartoon)
Rigs are actually insanely good now, you can get stuff that looks really good compared to hand drawn often times.
Just depends on the amount of work you want to put into building a rig, people often say it is "easier" to make a rig, i don't believe that to be true in the slightest.
Its not that one is better than the other, it just depends on use case...
Often times people just combine a rig and then draw extreme poses when needed. I recommend people learn both, its almost helpful to learn how to build a 2D or 3D rig too since you can practice animation principles a bit faster once you have a rig going too.
really all just depends on what you're doing and hoping to achieve
Can we get my birthday on the calendar? Just cause I'm cool and special? ;)
wait a second guys... boner collab? I dont think this is very appropriate..
Im so excited for collaborative art!!!!
