I've always been a sucker for a driving sim game where you get to explore, do mission and hog the radio stations in your vehicle being Grand Theft Auto series. In hindsight there is a ton of unused and scrapped content throughout the original trilogy excluding horrible Definitive Editions.

Hope I'm not cheating by including Grand Theft Auto titles here as they were removed from Steam and other platforms, as you're either forced to buy keys for whopping around 100-1000$ on the black market or pirating them. Thanks for Rockstar's odd decisions not keeping its memory and core to what they've made.

Some nifty but cool unused contents and cut examples before release being Vice City which is my favorite from the trilogy. I always found it also goofy how cover art was different from the characters' outfits having different tints of color.

It's a shame Rockstar will pull this treatment to their older gen games and remake their libraries especially with the Max Payne series, which was advertised with AI used slop. Regardless won't stop me enjoying their older titles by pirating and keep on playing for nostalgia and good vibes with Lance Vance Dance.

Just gave it a try. No luck on different browsers and changing it to NG Player / Ruffle. Seems the code is old and not functioning.

Welp, things gotta go forth somehow even in worst cases or examples.

At least not another sense of deja vu cause these are something no one expected to happen.

I just played the entire game in a quick rush. Although no problems on my end.

NG Player worked fine, and all medals obtained just fine.

Man, he even teased FFSX 7 which never came to be a thing. He's also made so many great flash games / animations back then which were huge highlight for me as a kid browsing around Newgrounds.

It's also funny how a lot of Russian users outside on Twitter kept complaining that they don't wanna use Newgrounds because it's not a great community and add the additional reason being is their VPN not working properly here.

A bit ironic but I get the gist, regardless hopefully this does brandish a few things on some loose ends.

In any case this is solid. Hopefully less issues with account handling and VPN related being polished.

You might wanna restart your browser or page. Usually takes few tries until the servers / site itself registers medals.

It can usually be just synchronization stuttering.

If the option is available that is... The saddest part if you wanna get most of the achievements out of a single game.

You'd have to mess around a lot with browsers, something with secure tracking (one specific flash had such issue) and using different methods from going from Ruffle only to NG Player.

I wish it was easier to confront such nuisance but it is a hassle to work with it.

As a protip too: if there are even new released games that have medals they will have issues due to small inconsistency.

So not everything is perfect.

Madness Accelerant achievements have either long delay to function or work fine but it's a 50-50 gamble. You have to sit through a very poor performance play until you hopefully get everything.

That's odd, I had this medal unlocked awhile ago.

There's a chance Firefox got an update and it did something but uncertain. You could attempt to get it on other browsers if doable.

Try Firefox and see if that does the trick. If not come back here again.

Last time I tried it on that browser and worked for me.

Apparently coding is so old that it works differently. I'm more amazed this is the oddest trick to make it function. I may keep this in mind for the future NG games to attempt medals.

I'm guessing due to old coding not keeping up-to-date with current changes nowadays. But I'll give this a shot and see if this works. Will let you know how it goes.

So, I've been trying to do many attempts on this one game but no luck.

Tried using different browsers or so and still nothing.

I see folks still getting the medals but I still don't get how.

As a kid I always switched back and forth from Kongregate, Armor Games to NG and other Flash sites

just to play Shark series. The most fun I've ever had whenever I had the opportunity to visit few of his titles.

And I can't thank enough for blessing my childhood with such wonderful memories and Wiesi did grant me having such fond and fun times.

Thanks for explaining this step by step. Probably best answer can get so far since some are outdated with their dates.

In any regards this can be useful to know on how to get by few things.

I suppose biggest wishlist would be that either Ruffle or NG Player would replace these issues in the future. Although I digress, oldest Flash projects will have such troubles so have to bypass in other ways to achieve the medals.

In any case we'll wait and see. But once again, much obliged for the detailed response!

So, can confirm the Michaelsoft worked with achievements unlocking on Firefox browser. But with Firefox for Nothing to Hide didn't. I still have no clue if Chronium if affecting some of the flash games with Ruffle supported or not. Which is one thing that bothers me.

In any case I can keep Firefox browser as an alt. way of unlocking some of the achievements I suppose (yet some of them run clumsily slow but it does its job)

Ah... although I still genuinely don't know what's the matter. I reset page so many times and tried to get at least first two achievement but never unlocks. And zero clue of odds and ends on how to obtain it. I might try on my phone again and see if it helps. I kept hearing as a joke that Puffin browser for mobile was one way to go since it supported Flash at some point.

Still wish there were ways to cheese games achievements if they were somewhat clunky. But the way folks obtain them is a mystery.

So, I've been willing to grind couple of achievements but there's few hiccups that I've stumbled upon and would need to

fully understand couple of things before fullest conclusion.

Before jumping in to the main topic I really want to bust these rumors out of the way.

Rumor #1: If the game doesn't pop its achievements the alternative is to download the .swf file and use it on Newgrounds Player.

Rumor #2: It's possible to achieve game's achievements via mobile phone (if supported)

These two rumors are mainly spread around the forums saying these are the alt. ways of gaining achievements if by default they do not unlock but I don't know if these are 100% true. I tried on my own even inspecting the page element but didn't find some of the content's .swf files due to them being probably .html format or encrypted? Using Opera GX currently if anything.

Also there's confirmations where folks gain these achievements due to date and time showing when they've unlocked but the way they've achieved is unknown.

Lastly out of curiosity just want to know if there's new ways of achieving the inevitable cause probably Ruffle may be outdated or data not properly working? Again this fuzz is very weird since I don't know much going on at the end so just want to know or have clarification how it goes. Anyways, here's few random games that I cannot gain achievements as examples:
