Congrats to all who won!

Yeah, I'll join this. Dibs on Mokou.

I love professional sumo so much Imma make a thread dedicated to it! And it would be perfect to do so with the upcoming Hatsu basho (Opening Tournament or sometimes just called the January Tournament) starting on January 11th at 9 AM (UTC+9, so basically January 10th at 7pm in NG time).
For those who don't know much about sumo, here's a good video by Phannypackster that explains the basics of sumo and also highlights a few special moments and rikishi that makes this sport rule.
Here's a video by Sumo Jojo that shows what's to come in this year's Hatsu Basho!

It used to be $20 in the 90s, when 12 dollars could get you a good quality game. It was adjusted for inflation about 2010ish, years ago, so what would it be if we adjusted for 2026 inflation?
I love inflati- OOOOOHHH!!! You meant the economic kind!
Hey, I'm Ashley or just Ash. I'm a transwoman who's just "pre-everything" (and broke). Would be glad to talk to y'all.

Honestly, I think it rules. While, I don't listen much to K-pop, I certainly enjoyed listening to the song though. I do agree that it does feel just like a mod especially with how BF and GF look slightly drawn different (though if I recall correctly, PhantomArcade mentioned in a stream about redrawing BF's main sprites). I find it funny and also weirdly fitting that BF has a deep voice. I'm glad that we're still getting news about this game.

Today is the 11th anniversary of LISA: The Painful! To celebrate this, I drew Rando himself last night!

Absolutely! Despite The Joyful's flaws, I still consider it to a good conclusion to the LISA series.
Now, If you want more LISA after that and want to get into its fangames, then I recommend The Hopeful. While it is more linear, it manages to have a touching story that The Painful had while also doing its own thing with a well-done dynamic between its protagonists.

The Painful also has a very compelling protagonist as well. Brad is in the wrong for isolating Buddy and basically leaving hope for humanity in ruins, but at the same time, the men of Olathe want to do unspeakable things to Buddy, a little girl. And the idea of a girl who is close to him being forced to partake in sexual activity reminds Brad of his sister Lisa, and how she took her own life because of that.
I'd argue that Buddy herself in The Joyful is relatively misunderstood as a character. She is a result of being trapped in Brad's home her whole life, given the big shoes of being "the last girl" and who "humanity needs" by her uncles, and being forced to kill and watch those who cared about her suffer and/or die. This causes Buddy to left with the mindset that she's a goddess in a world that deserves to be punished. It's just the fact that The Joyful's storytelling sadly feels rushed, and I feel it ends up making Buddy come off as just evil. (Joyful luckily has a banger soundtrack tho)

Also did anyone have played "LISA: Paradise" and "Olathe Oddities" yet?
I played Olathe Oddities a while back and just played the former, and I loved both of them! Now, I'm gonna be honest, I actually haven't played a LISA game in a long time along with my interest in the series kinda dying, up until recently. Guess maybe the LISAnity is at its strongest during the anniversary (lol).
