One of my favorite bands, godspeed you! black emperor, first made their existence known in 1994 with a demo tape that had only about 30 copies made, and was long considered lost until it eventually leaked online in 2022.
Is there a "one submission per artist" limit? As in, can more than one user do a submission of the same artist?
Hit the nail on the head. It would take less time to list art channels that aren't like the ones you're describing (first that comes to mind being Marco Bucci)
As for direct feedback, I suppose I could enrol in an in-person class, but then again...

@TerminalMontage's entire channel is a goldmine
My guess is that if fans of a dark show wanted dark material involving those characters, they'd just watch the show; the fan material fulfills the show's unrealized niche. And vice versa.

Or was it 65 bucks and 98 cents?
For any fellow Canadians reading this thread: those two numbers would currently be about 68.94 and 91.70 mapledollars respectively
I would like to try to read 10 novels this year. Sounds like a small number, but while I did technically read 90 books in 2025 (thank you local libraries), 87 of those were comics.
Dibs on Skull Knight from Berserk!
Which software and programming language are you using?

If you figure it out, can you let me know how you did it?
It's a corruption of my legal middle name, Switzer, which is also my mother's maiden surname. It originally came from German Schweizer, meaning "Swiss person". Funny considering I have practically no Swiss ancestry...
same answer as a similar thread yesterday:

"Seriously? The bar is that low for you?" Yup. I ain't any more pleased than you are ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I saw this on the wall of a restaurant I was in last summer and it has probably the most poorly-aged magazine cover feature blurb I've ever seen:

If I ever develop an "art style" I would probably want it to take elements from comics like Scott Pilgrim by Bryan Lee O'Malley, Neon Genesis Evangelion by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, Monster by Naoki Urasawa, EDEN: It's an Endless World! by Hiroki Endo, Hellboy by Mike Mignola, and Asterios Polyp by David Mazzucchelli.
I haven't played many horror games, but out of the few I've played I've enjoyed Parasite Eve, The Last of Us, and Left 4 Dead 2. I also consider myself a fan of the Castlevania series, but that's more "spooky-themed" than actual "horror".

Grand Theft Auto IV? Unless there's another game with an Easter egg like that I'm not aware of...
Hard to pick just one but I like C418, Toby Fox, Koji Kondo, Nobuo Uematsu, Michiru Yamane, and Alias Conrad Coldwood.
Might be the silliest reason in the thread but during the pandemic I played a video game that featured a character whom really resonated with me. Said character happened to be a painter so I tried drawing her as a sort of way to "pay respects" to her, if that makes sense.

Uh.... what is it?
"Nothing, it's just a box."
No thanks.

Xeiavica was later found stuffed in a box

If I had an "art style" I would probably want it to look something like that of Bryan Lee O'Malley (of Scott Pilgrim and Seconds fame) or Yoshiyuki Sadamoto (of Neon Genesis Evangelion and .hack fame). Although their styles are incredibly different from each other...
I'm not scouted myself so take my advice with a grain of salt, but while scouted artists do often get frontpaged, I wouldn't be so quick to conclude that "frontpage = scout". Honestly not sure what to say other than to be patient. I've already been doing so for a couple years, so I know what you're going through. Just gotta keep pushing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

SpicyFingers' art has a ton of personality and charm!
Inb4 "profile pic checks out" but I'm very intrigued to see the final product! The only footage of this game I could find was on NicoNico (Japan's equivalent of YouTube), and even then it was hard to tell what was going on.
You get what you give. That is, in order to receive attention, you show others why they should give it to you. Make and upload stuff, participate in threads/collabs/etc.

Read it in my head like this (extra appropriate seeing as this uses models from another Valve game)

I think it should be okay, but maybe credit the original piece and composer in the description just in case.
