It's been a really good month for this site, one hit after another. I wonder what the new year will bring for NG.
It's been quite a crazy year and there's been no shortage of boredom. All the best to everyone in the new year!
W końcu nadszedł ten dzień, więc z tej okazji życzę wam wszystkim Newgroundersom Wesołych, Zdrowych, Radosnych, Spokojnych, Ciepłych i Pogodnych Świąt! Wszystkiego najlepszego!
Cool. By the way, can we change the wall art to Christmas theme? It's already December 12th.
It seems that the past month was a successful one for internet and indie animation. Zeurel deservedly raised the bar with his sci-fi series, from the adventures of two bounty hunters to developing the lore and infrastructure of this universe. David Firth, in second place, maintains his form in building the horror and strangeness of his world. Nihaho and MikeCarf continue to demonstrate how to properly make a teen drama without artificial silliness. Aaron Long is not the worse, creating characters that are exaggerated and realistic at the same time, making it difficult to tell whether they're a parody or a true reflection of our reality. And then there's RebelTaxi, which, despite its flaws, brought its most stylish project to completion, capturing the Y2K atmosphere in its glory. Congratulations to everyone else. Newgrounds has recently become a benchmark for quality, despite 30 year history and Youtube as a rival. Perhaps in the future, some talented madmen will join forces to create a full animated adaptation of this site.
Remember, if you're an animator and need money, start selling plush toys of your characters, people love that... I think. Actually, does anyone collect such mascots as a fan of web animation? I'm not being sarcastic, I'm just asking.
Me: Well, we did it. We saved Newgrounds.
Someone: But you didn't do anything.
Me: So what? I can still be happy that my favorite website is safe.
I think first there was Gildedguy as a skin, then Among Us as backpacks, and now we have Isaac.
Asgore literally ran over the games competition.
Virgin Adobe: No!!! you can't keep reviving Flash, I've already unplugged five 5 years ago, let it finally die!!
Giga Chad Tom Fulp and other NewGrounds Chads: You want to ban us from using emulations like Newgrounds Player or Ruffle? You should be ashamed of yourself.
