This collab has officially shifted into a personal project. Since there wasn’t much activity after my original post, I’ve decided to move forward by commissioning artists and animators directly. I’m still actively reaching out to people for paid work, but that’ll be handled privately.

That said, if anyone still wants to join in just for fun, feel free to message me. I’d still love to include extra contributions where I can. But I wanted to put this out now so that my intentions are clear moving forward.

Hey everyone! With Cirno Day (9/9) 2025 on the horizon, I’m putting together a fun community animation project and I’m looking for animators and artists who want to celebrate our cutie patootie ice fairy! The idea is a collage-style montage video featuring all kinds of short animations and art of Cirno stitched together (for an example of the video I'm looking to make see here.) The song I'm using is a shortened version of King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard's "Ice V," (Shortened it to 5:53 instead of the original's 10:15 length). If you need the .mp3 file for animating purposes just send me a request (contact info below) and I'll will get to it ASAP.

What to animate?

Here’s the kind of stuff I’d love to see:

• Cirno dancing 
• Cirno playing instruments 
• Cirno being silly or just plain stupid 
• Cirno-related things: frogs, ⑨, Chirumiru, sunflowers, snowflakes, Fumo, ice, etc.
• Backgrounds (Although I prefer these to either be big, or wrap around on edges)
• Homages to anime, games, movies; whatever inspires you, just have it involve Cirno somehow.
• Other characters are welcome too — but remember, this is her day, so keep Cirno in the spotlight!

This is meant to be a fun, expressive project, so I want you to bring your own unique style and soul to it. So basically any art style goes as far as I'm concerned. Claymation? Sure thing. 3D animation? Go for it. Live action? Why not. I also want to clarify, while I prefer to have animations, I will also accept drawings as well. Again. The video is going to be about 6 minutes long, so the more submissions the merrier.

 Another thing, pretty sure this is just standard practice but just to make sure, anything that you made feel free to post it anywhere you want. This is your content, I am merely collaging it together but at the end of the day it is not mine so don't be shy to post your stuff. I’m keeping the creative restrictions minimal, but there are a few technical and content guidelines to follow:

Guidelines:

• No NSFW - I shall not smutty up my beloved for this.
• No AI - Keep it human and from the heart!
• Loopable animations - Not required but preferred, short loops (3–10 seconds) are ideal, but longer is fine too!
• Deadline - I’ll start editing the video in August 2025, so please try to get your segment in before August 7th. I can try and squeeze in stuff afterwards, but please keep in mind I have to juggle both work and school during this time.

Submissions:

Transparent backgrounds (for animation only):

• .PNG sequence
• .GIF
• .MOV
• Two .MP4 files (one normal, one alpha matte)

For those that are doing real-world animation techniques (i.e. live action / claymation / stop motion, etc.) - No transparency or looping is required. I'll leave the choice to you. But please send me your submission as .MP4 or .MOV as it's just easier to deal with than having to convert a bunch of files because Adobe is fucking dumb and can't support some formats sometimes (lookin' at you .WEBM)
