Ableton Live 12 as a DAW (But everything can be done on FL or other soft for sure)
Royalty free house drum loops (for this one), but edited / cut / worked A LOT
Vital (plugin) presets for the bass / lead and keys
Electric guitar directly on my sound card, using Guitar Rig 7 to get an "amp sound"
EQ on all the layers individually to get the best overall result
EQ the Master / Main and Limiter to avoid "clipping"
Personally, when recording, I set the BPM division really tight to be sharp and sometimes slow down the song to be more accurate when I input manually!
