"Sugar Coated Waltz" is a song about surviving a hard period of your life. It can be so bitter, so it is important to go through hardships, always concentrating on positiveness.

A brief overview of the process: For this song, I wanted to experiment with sound. To begin with, I chose the piano as the main instrument in the song. Additionally, I wanted to break the structure of the song and make it unusual. Therefore, I came up with the idea of having a culmination at the very end of the song to show that hope will always come and brighten the future. For the ending, I used many different instruments, the main one being a howling synthesizer. I used automation of volume to make it dynamic in the end.There was also an idea of a telephone sound in the beginning with a message, and it suited the song perfectly.
