Love is in the air! (Or is that a gas leak…?) …Either way, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! Say, have you ever wondered what it might be like to go on a date with your favorite Newgrounds character? Pico, Smash Girl, Hank, Mama Matsumoto, or even your own OC here on Newgrounds, you get the idea. And you’re in luck! This year for Valentine’s Day, you can show everybody what a date with one of your faves would look like! Whether its a walk in the park, a fancy restaurant or a scenic picnic. Where would they take you, what would you be doing? The possibilities are endless!
To join, all you have to do is reply to this thread with the character you'd like to draw and get to work! 💞

What are the qualifications to join in on the festivities, you may ask?
- You must be a scouted artist!
- You must commit to one character to draw on your date! Background characters are fine, but make sure your character is the focal point of the piece!
- You must choose a character that hasn’t already been picked. No need to go sifting through the forums, there’ll be a fancy schmancy spreadsheet showing who’s taken by who! First come first serve!
- Your character should be an established Newgrounds character. If you're going to draw an OC, it must have a presence here on Newgrounds, same as any other character!
- Experience in a prior collab is preferred but not required.
- You must be able to meet the deadline!

And what should your submission include?
- The POV of the viewer! Remember, this is your date, so show us what you’d be seeing!
- A large (ideally 3000x3000px+) square canvas!
- A PG rating. Now I know what you may be thinking, Valentine’s Day and all… but think of the children!
- A complete background! How else will we know where you are!

What if a character you want to draw for is taken? While we will only be taking one submission per character, if you're interested in being alerted in the event that that piece isn't done by the deadline, then feel free to volunteer as a backup artist for that character! That being said, if you need an extension, it must be voiced before the deadline to avoid having your character reassigned!
The end result of this collab will be a fun little game by JimmyCarlos showcasing everybody’s lovely submissions. Come on down and share the love with your fellow Newgrounders this Valentine’s Day!
