For Pixel Day I'm planning on doing a content update for the game, which means I am accepting NEW submissions for the game!
If you don't what Wanted! is, it is an interactive character spotting game that slowly gets harder and harder as you keep playing. It is heavily ripped of- I mean inspired by the Super Mario Bros minigame with the same name. Give the game a try if you haven't already:
Your submissions will be the little character sprites that run around the bottom half of the screen during gameplay.
This update for the game will feature all your new submissions, harder round types, new medals and more "secret" game modes.
The rules are largely the same as last time, but I have rewritten some of them for better clarity. Please read even if you've already submitted before.
Rules
In order for the game to be fun and balanced, you must draw your sprite under some very specific rules. The rules have been written in full with images on the discord server, but here's a slightly watered down version for this thread:
- Your image must be a transparent 32x32 png
- Your sprite must stretch across the entire 32x32 canvas (either left to right, top to bottom, or both)
- Your sprite must have a solid black outline surrounding it
- Avoid using solid black or other extremely dark colours where possible. Little bits of black for eyes and stuff are fine.
- Do not make your character sprite too small/thin/wide
- Only draw your characters head. No neck and shoulders should be visible
- Avoid blurry looking sprites. Please try to keep everything looking as crisp as possible
- It is preferred if your character is related to Newgrounds or is an OC. You may not draw a character someone else has submitted already (check the google doc linked below)
Sorry there's so many rules, but it's all for the better of the actual game! If your sprite breaks too many of these rules I will ask you to adjust/redraw it. If you have any questions regarding these rules, please don't hesitate to ask!

Submitting:
- The deadline for submissions is the 20th of January, just over 2 weeks from now. The game will then be updated on the 23rd of January (Pixel Day)
- You will need to provide the name of your character alongside the sprite, this is just for the gallery
- You can also submit multiple heads if you wish, but no more than 3. This is a brand new limit regardless of how many you submitted last time.
- There is a discord server for submissions with the full guidelines, but if you would rather not join then you can also submit here in this thread too
